System76 laptops are mostly (all?) rebadged Clevo laptops. This is not to trivialise the work they do, they work with Clevo directly and ensure the laptop works with Linux, contributing code, etc. I'd consider System76 if they made their own laptop hardware (not the CPU/GPU), because Clevo hardware I've repeatedly found to have poor keyboards and poor build quality in general.
