## Attendees:
DimStar, ddemaio, wengel, maxlin, guillaumeg, Santiago, jimedrand,
lkocman, bmwiedemann, rfrohl, adamm, anag
HEADS UP!!! The attendee list for this meeting continues to grow, and
we’d like to make session reporting on openSUSE projects more
efficient.
Proposed agenda:
We’ll begin with Tumbleweed, followed by secondary architectures, as
their updates are mostly related to TW.
Leap and PackageHub will share a single combined report, with feedback
collected in advance.
After that, we’ll hear from the Maintenance team, Project Enablement,
Slowroll, and finally other projects or individuals during the open
floor session. We'd test it out on the next session, see how that goes
and do further changes based on feedback.
## openSUSE Tumbleweed (DimStar)
openSUSE:Factory build fail stats: 46 failed 16 unresolvable ( last
week: 19 failed, 35 unresolvable) => many boost 1.89 related fixes;
openSUSE:Factory:Rebuild shows what would happen if we do a full
rebuild: 365 fails, 16 unresolvables; many are still GCC15 things not
addressed in the devel projects
~980 requests accepted in the last week (data source:
https://build.opensuse.org/projects/openSUSE:Factory/pulse)
Snapshots 1008 - 1012 were discarded by openQA due to SELinux vs snapper issues

Links at https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/16.0/appl...
should be now final some corrections to get-o-o are on the way. Thanks
to autobuild team for fixing the problematic symlinking in the
publishing script.
Cloud images for 16.0. SUSE Public Cloud team said that tooling is not
ready. Their team was publishing Leap 15.X images in the past. I need
to doublecheck also with
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:PublicCloud_team This is quite
problematic the last communication with Microsoft about community
gallery and relevant accoutn setup in Azure is stuck on MSFT side for
ages. openSUSE was not possible to use due reserved word *SUSE* in it
etc, payment mechanism setup vs free credits etc ...
docker build failure will be fixed after
https://src.opensuse.org/openSUSE/Leap/pulls/32
16.1 branch is need to be created for the Leap/PackageHub 16.1 development
Package Hub
package search for Package Hub for SLES 16.0 is now working on
scc.suse.com (fixed by SCC-Team)

## Maintenance (Marcus, Robert)
Leap 15 maintenance is working as usual.
Leap 16.0 maintenance all projects were moved for all needed 3 setups.
Leap 16.0 Nonfree was wiped and rebuilt. There is a small chance that
there would be some sha256 checksum complains since, it was rebuilt
with same versions.
Max: sorry, it's my bad :/ mixed excludebuild and onlybuild flag
crossing the projects
ToTest manager being very ISO focused, and not repository focused.
Maintenance is not building iso.
Santi can help with testing. Andrii is trying to help with ToTest manager.
The best place to look is currently open pull requests of
openSUSE/Leap, openSUSE/LeapNonFree Products/PackageHUB
## Santiago - openQA
- PoC for Leap Maintenance workflow is done:
https://github.com/os-autoinst/scripts/pull/473 works with my local
openQA instances
- Needs to be deployed (I guess botmaster?), need to takeover old
bot account too
lkocman: we might need old bot for 15.6 until 30th April 2026
right? Santi: Yes
- Setting up openQA job group
- Pipeline with ToTestManager is pending some changes in the rsync
- Briefly looked at grub2-bls with DimStar, Staging:F is back to green 👏
## Adrian - OBS
Not available
## Bernhard - Slowroll
Had to drop patched gdm again. Rolling normally (fewer updates because
Tumbleweed did not roll much)
## Bernhard - reproducible builds
no news
## Adam -- Git Workflow
- bug fixes
* br.opensuse.org -- now doesn't clear its results when looking for package
* PR bot -- bug affecting devel projects was fixed that had "merge
ok" enabled on package side where a race condition resulted in a
revert merged into project if the commit was merged manually into the
project instead via the PR. This mostly only affected /perl and is
fixed there.
- work is being done on stagings now (grouping functionality, dashboard, etc)
- setting factory branch for devel projects
Santi: We do have a new bot account which is approving changes in pull
requests. The autogit obs has permissions on the whole instance. So it
can set commit status. Why can't we have the same for openQA bot as
well? (please rewrite Santi). We could use the work on forwarder from
Luna Dragon (https://src.opensuse.org/adamm/autogits/src/branch/main/g...)
