LWN.net gift certificates

Do you know somebody who should have an LWN.net subscriptions? An LWN gift certificate may be the perfect way to bring that about. Gift certificates are sold six or twelve months of subscription access, and may be redeemed by anybody within one year of purchase. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

How it works: once the gift certificate has been purchased, you will be given a 16-character code which identifies the certificate. Print it on fancy paper and give it to the recipient (or just send it in email) and you're done. The recipient can simply fill in the code on the subscription screen, and the process is complete.

Gift certificates currently can only be purchased with credit cards.
