   This month Igor Grobman, co-author of the Official "Installing Debian
   Linux 2.0 For x86" will talk about the new document and the current
   state of the Debian Pre 2.0 release. The most updated guide is
   available http://www.igoria.net/install/install.html
   
   PLUG is also holding an Installfest of Debian 2.0. We will have the
   i386 version available for ftp or CDROM install's. If possible, please
   bring your machine prepared for network install as we will be able to
   many machines similtanously and will only have possibly 1 or 2 CD's.

                        Debian 2.0 Beta is Released
                                      
   Over a year in the making, Debian 2 is arguably the most
   eagerly-awaited Linux distribution in history. It contains over 1500
   official packages, all glibc-based, all cutting-edge (gimp 1.0, apache
   1.3.0, etc.), and will be released for intel and m68k simultaneously,
   with Alpha and SPARC following close behind.
   
   The meeting time is Wednesday 7 PM July 1st at the Cyberloft, 1525
   Walnut, Philadelphia.
