I'd like to make a call for participation in discussions about publishing
a Python Journal; there has been a fair amount of interest in this, and
Sean Reifschneider has had the foresight to set up a domain and mailing
list.

Anyone who is interested in discussing issues relating to a Python
Journal, including people who want to help with editorial, production or
writing (anything from a column to a once-off article), should send mail
to

with SUBSCRIBE in the Subject: or body of the message.

This list is to discuss and formalise the issues of how the journal is to
be published, what its goals are and so forth. The immediate plans are to
publish in HTML and PDF, and to have an editorial team rather than a
single point of contact (and failure), but this is open to change. What we
most need now are people interested in contributing, and getting their
input.
