Shared Calendars integrates schedules across your office or
organization. It allows many users to each create their own individual
calendars, giving access to different people as desired. They can create a
calendar just for themselves, or for a committee or workgroup. Shared
Calendars can also create a public calendar: ideal for integrating private
committee meetings with public events. With capabilities such as email
reminders and recurring events, Shared Calendars is a great way to help
everyone in an office get organized. It works like any other web page:
once you've set it up on your server, it can be accessed from any web
browser on any type of computer.

Since Shared Calendars is written in Perl 5, it will run on any
Unix system which offers the Apache web server or a similar
CGI environment. Shared Calendars was developed under Linux.
