They have a client who wants it bad enough that it is actually close to being complete. It's expensive, but people from Ardent have confirmed that it is very close to completion. Their corporate web site is www.ardentsoftware.com and mentions their 3 databases (Unidata, Universe, and O2) but no mention yet of the Linux port.
