                    Gmp3 0.072 - A front-end to mpg123

  I'd like to announce the release of Gmp3 version 0.072, a GPL'd, GTK
based front-end to mpg123, which is part of the Gnome project.  As of this 
version Gmp3 sports the following features:

- - Powerful albumn-based song grouping system.  This allows the user to
  catagorize their songs for easy organization.
- - All your regular features including shuffle, repeat one/all, etc. with
  correct shuffle handling (no often-repeated songs).
- - ID3 tag loading/saving support (currently only uses song titles).
- - Optional automatic filename parsing for song titles when an ID3 tag isn't
  available.
- - Optional built in mixer panel, or you may define an external mixer to
  call. 
- - Reduce window mode which makes a small player even smaller.
- - Fully configurable through an options dialog box, meaning you don't
  have to fiddle with dot files if you don't want to.
- - Support for themes which allow the front panel of the player to be
  redefined as the user wishes.
- - With patches provided, the lagging stop and pause problems found in
  other front-ends do not occur with Gmp3.
- - High portability.  Because Gmp3 uses mpg123 for sound output, Gmp3 should
  be relatively easy to port to other platforms where GTK is available.
