Subject: Debian Rand MH available

I'm the Debian maintainer of Rand MH, now at version 6.8.4, Debian
version 23.  Other Unix users and Linux users in particular may be
interested in this distribution, since we've integrated a number of
improvements and security fixes.  I've collected the best-of-breed
patches from FreeBSD, www.gw.com, ics.uci.edu, RedHat, and Debian
developers.

I'd like to offer our collection of patches for the greater benefit of
the MH community, not ready yet to move to nmh.  Since MH users don't
have the benefit of active maintenance from ICS (not that I know of
anyway; at least they haven't responded to any of my emails), please
feel free to use the Debian diff as an unofficial pre-release of
6.8.5.  Of course this is up to you all.  Debian-specific patches are
either under the ./debian subdir or selected by switches in debian/MH
.  Options such as shared cvs directories are available to me if
others are interesting in helping with maintenance.
