This mailing list is an attempt to follow up and expand on some of the ideas 
discussed in Kendall Clark's Users-Group-HOWTO, and Paul L. Rogers' Advocacy-mini-HOWTO. Anything related to Linux 
Users Groups is fair game, whether it's starting a new group or revitalizing and improving an existing group. 

The topics may be the mechanics of organizing a users group and getting it up and running, training and education members, free copying and distribution of Linux and GNU software, effective advocacy, setting up your web pages and mailing lists, technical presentations and workshops, installation and troubleshooting sessions, online documentation, special projects and events. The needs of the subscribers to this list will determine the content.
