Subject: Ld.so 1.9.8 is released

Ld.so version 1.9.8 is now available at the following locations:
  ftp://ftp.ods.com/pub/linux/ld.so-1.9.8.tar.gz

Changes in version 1.9.8:

	Changed ldconfig to allow the expected type for all
	libraries in a directory to be optionally specified
	(Mark Phillips).  See the ldconfig man page.

	Changed ldconfig to use the same type names used in the
	change above when the -p option is used.
