INTRODUCTION

  dennis is an automated DNS builder. It takes an /etc/hosts style file
  and outputs information suitable for a bind 8 master and bind 4
  secondaries. This will change to being able to mix and match different
  bind versions for master and secondaries later. This software is
  currently alpha, that is it works for me, I've cleaned up enough stuff
  to make dropping this into place not too hard for other sites but there
  remains a hefty chunk of work left to do. I have included a syntax 
  checker to catch any potential problems. I welcome any feedback/bug
  reports/patches to be sent to jauderho@carumba.com.

REQUIREMENTS

  perl

  You can decided if you want the program to be setuid. But all scripts
  are setuid safe i.e. they pass perl5.004_04's taint-checking.

  bind 

  As of now, you need to be running bind 8 on your master nameserver. I
  will resurrect the code to output bind 4 info as an option probably in
  the release.
