New Address Book Feature Extends Leading Enterprise-Class Calendaring and
Scheduling Solution For More Complete Workgroup Information Management
ANAHEIM, Calif., April 28 /PRNewswire/ Montreal-based Corporate
Software & Technologies Int. Inc. (CS&T) today announced CorporateTime(R)
4.0 calendaring and scheduling client and CorporateTime 4.0 server. With
the new upgrade, CorporateTime now includes a complete Address Book that
extends the enterprise-class scheduling client to encompass more
comprehensive workgroup information management.
CorporateTime is CS&T's multi-platform client/server solution that enables
thousands of users to collaborate and manage their time and activities through
a powerful, feature-complete, scalable architecture. With CorporateTime,
corporations can deploy calendaring and scheduling applications that enable
users to visually navigate their calendars, block off time, invite attendees,
and reserve conference rooms and facilities. In addition, users can publish
calendars to pre-defined lists of colleagues, manage tasks and activities, and
choose from numerous printing format options.
"The new release of CorporateTime extends CS&T's leadership in the market
for enterprise-class scheduling solutions that can scale to hundreds of
thousands of users," said Thomas Gosnell, chief operating officer for CS&T.
"Our expansion of CorporateTime to include comprehensive address book
functionality responds to our customers who are looking to integrate contact
information with the more robust collaborative features of CorporateTime."
CorporateTime Client 4.0: New Address Book The key feature of the
CorporateTime 4.0 client is its new Address Book. CorporateTime has
traditionally boasted the market's most reliable client for calendaring and
scheduling among hundreds of thousands of users across worldwide enterprises.
Now, using a simple two-panel view with folders and different sorting options,
users can exploit a comprehensive Address Book with bookmarks, various
printing capabilities, user-defined fields, and the ability to share public
Address Books. Users can enter business, general, and personal contacts
even if they are not CorporateTime users - and view them in a variety of ways
through tabs. The CorporateTime Client enables users to enter free-form note
associated with each contact, such as summaries of previous conversations.
Users can populate their address book by importing names from files,
copying entries from one book to another, or dragging vCard files. Address Book
contents can also be exported in different file formats. As with all
CorporateTime features, users can work with Address Books off-line, modify
them, and later reconcile any changes to the server.
To control server disk space, the system administrator can set limits to
the number of Address Books and entries that users can create. Corporate Time
Address Books can be either shared public Address Books (such as a company
phone directory) or maintained as a personal Address Book. Only designated
users have the right to create and manage public Address Books.
In addition, the newest version of CS&T's acclaimed calendaring and
scheduling client now features:
New Display Format CorporateTime has improved context-sensitive menus,
hovering popups, better use of colors to indicate weekends and current day.
"Borderless" toolbars are also provided for better use of screen real- estate.
In addition, CorporateTime provides easier control over multiple windows and
views.

Book entries. Weekly views now display the week number and users can switch
among weekly and monthly views with one mouse click. Right-button mouse
functionality now provides easy access to context-sensitive commands and menus
The number of mouse clicks required to perform common tasks has also been
reduced.

reserve facilities on the same page by typing a first or last name or a
group/department name. The Reply process is streamlined as well.

slower telephone lines.
