 RH5.0jdk1.1.5v1.4

Dear Developers:

A version of JDK 1.1.5 for Linux-RedHat5.0 is released.

It is 100% RedHat 5.0 compliant, even the latest version of Motif from
RedHat was used to compile this release.

I also negotiating with Sun Microsystems the possible for making the
distribution of
JDK for Linux on CDROM.

===========================
We still need to resolve a number of legal issues, so my plans to release
the fist CDROM with Linux_JDK on April 15th are postponed.
===========================]

Anyway, the current release of JDK comes with documentation and a simple
search engine to browse through java docs.

Simply type

jdk_search graphics

if you want to know all items in the doc related to graphics
and it will bring up your browser with the results of the search.

I did not yet compiled JDK for libc5, it is still reasonable to
do, since my port is different from what Steve Byrne is doing and

our ports have different set of bugs. Steve is doing a great job,
so if you need libc5 JDK, then his port is the best choice.

My port is dedicated for RH5.0 and on this platform it is supposed to do
better than other corresponding libc6 ports.

I do not know what will happen on other LinuxOS-platforms based on libc6,
did not try.

With best
+++++++++++++++++++,
Sergey

P.S. Waiting for your remarks. Your testing efforts are of great
importance to me. I am not
 able to answer all mail messages I am getting, but I document all
of them and keep the list of JDK related messages. So you message about bug
or strange performance will be documented and I will use it to analyze
the source code.
