Version 1.2 of the multithreaded ypbind daemon for Linux is released.

This package conatins a multithreaded ypbind daemon. For this package,
you need the GNU C Library 2.x with pthreads. It also works with libc5 
and linuxthreads 0.7.1. It is recomended to use a Linux kernel v2.1.90 
or later.

ypbind-mt is a complete new implementation of a NIS binding daemon for
Linux. It has the following features:

        * Supports ypbind protocol V1 and V2.

        * Uses threads for better response.

        * Supports multiple domain bindings.

        * Supports /var/yp/binding/* file for Linux libc 4/5 and glibc 2.x.

        * Supports a list of known secure NIS server (/etc/yp.conf)
	  and binds to the server which answered as first from this list.

* Port it to Solaris 2.6/2.5.1/2.5
* Port it to Linux with libc5 and linuxthreads 0.7.1
