                Release of yp-tools 1.99.0 beta
                ===============================

Version 1.99.0 beta of the YP (NIS version 2) tools for Linux is
released.

This package contains ypcat, ypmatch, ypset, ypwhich and yppasswd.
It is a nearly complete rewrite of the old yp-tools 1.4.x package. It
fixes a lot of bugs and problems with the old version.

This package should work with every Linux libc 5 and glibc 2.

This version contains locale support. German locales are included,
the included turkish locale are from 1.4.1.
