Linux User Group organization building meeting:

Linux is a FREE unix clone operating system that runs on pc's. The Linux
User Group of Virginia Tech is a students organization that seeks to bring
together Linux users at Virginia Tech for the benefit of everyone by
providing support for Linux users, giving seminars on topics of interest
to Linux users as well as general computer users and sponsoring unix
seminars by professionals from out side the student body.

This was our first year. The current officers have learned a lot during
this year, but only one will be back next year. We would like to prepare
for next year by holding an organization building meeting for those that
are interested in participating in the activities of the group.

If you're interested in joining a local LUG or unix users' group, and
especially if you'd like to give input on what it does and how it's run
then please come to the meeting. All are welcome and you don't have to
know anything about Linux either, you just have to be motivated. 

If you would like BSD or any other unix OS to be included then please show
up and voice your opinion. There is opportunity for new leadership with
new views on what the name and purpose of the group should be.

You can make a difference -- we need your help!  Come join us and make
this a great unix users' group!
