I've released v1.14 of my MTRR (set Memory Type Range Registers) patch. It may be found at: http://www.atnf.csiro.au/~rgooch/kernel-patches.html For those who don't know what this is about: you can gain an easy 2.5x speedup blitting images to your PCI video card if you have a PPro/PII. This patch is against kernel 2.1.97. NOTE: people with certain types of GigaByte SMP boards which have different BogoMIPS values for their processors or get lockups on boot should find this patch useful.
