RHAD Labs current mission is to develop a simple to use desktop environment for Linux. Job Description and Qualifications ---------------------------------- As a programmer at RHAD Labs you may be responsible for design and development of graphical configuration tools, "desktop" software such as window managers and panels, CORBA-type object systems, and system level tools and programs to support the desktop environment. Qualifications: . 5 years of C development . X Windows and GUI toolkit programming experience . 1 years of Linux system-level experience . extremely strong UNIX programming fundamentals . Technical writing ability Lots of Bonus points for experience with: . GTK programming . GTK internals . GNOME Programming . CORBA . Sound programming The positions are in RTP, North Carolina, and are open now. These are salaried positions, with the precise figure to be based on your qualifications.
