Moving maps for Linux (finally)

Mayko Xmap beta5 maintenance release 5 is out!

 From now on until the final release: maintenance versions will
 be put on our web site and ftp server as they become available.

 From now on, only bug fixes will be considered for inclusion.

This is a drop-in replacement for the binary in the full
beta 5 release. (You need to get this first, if you do not
have it already)

Please also remember:

The program and maps have been packaged in separate files.
If you already have the maps from a previous release, you do
not have to download them again.

Xmap lets you use either vector or raster maps for navigation.
If you connect a GPS, your position will be plotted on the map.

You can use your own scanned maps, no need to buy.

You can also use USGS DRG topo maps from the net or BSB nautical
charts from us.

Beta5 has many new features and many bug fixes.
