The stuff in the Linux /proc such as /proc/scsi is very nice.
It provides a convenient way of observing the system.

Yes, we have thought about doing something similar in Solaris.
We would put the system stuff under something like /system/* rather
than under /proc because /proc on Solaris is the information and
control interface to processes and exports the process model rather
than the system implementation.  But that's just a detail.

As to when?  Maybe soon, maybe never.  More like the latter
than the former given our other priorities.

I just wanted to say that (other than being under /proc) I like
the system stuff exported in Linux this way.  Good show folks.
