Subject: redhat 5.0 alpha JDK 1.1.5, ready for testing

well the java jdk 1.1.5 for redhat alpha/5.0 is somewhat done.

http://www.voicenet.com/~gatgul/JDK/java-alpha.html

the JDB of the jdk is linux/64 bit address compatable.

there are still awt probs:
redhat libXt.so seems to be built so that Boolean & _XtBoolean are
inconsistent.
The professional osf/motif that was donated didnt workfor redhat 5.0 ( id did
much better on redhat 4.2) . it crashed. dont know the cause ;-(
Lesstiff works, but has interface problems to libXt.so. I dont know who to
really fix ( lesstif, or libXt ) The pendragon performence tests also causes
another lesstif bug to show up ( crashes the the hotjava browser ).

happy testing

ps, i'm not sure what goes on with blackdown, but plz post there any probs u
encounter with my port. My website documentation has not changed much, it has to
be updated with new info. the links to the classes/bin's are correct.
