locus lets you find words in your texts: newsgroup messages, Web page
mirrors, electronic books - whatever you have. It uses word patterns (order,
locality etc.) to match queries to texts, makes reasonable choices by default
yet does exactly what you want when you specify it.

The primary change from version 0.61 is that now you can use gcc 2.8.0
for compilation, leading to considerably improved performance (gcc
2.7.2.3 is still supported, but deprecated). I also fixed a couple of bugs.

locus homepage is at <URL:http://suffice.projects.ml.org/>;, LSM entry
