      Isn&amp;#x2019;t this just typical... Have had Perl 5.005 installed for years, and upgraded to 5.6.1 four days before the release. Small version of Murphy&amp;#x2019;s Law.

&lt;p&gt;But it&amp;#x2019;s still good news. Especially excited about the new Unicode support. Let&amp;#x2019;s boogie.
