I wonder if this fixes the interesting klipper bug I've noticed on a number of occasions.

Depending on what you copy on to the clipboard buffer, klipper will occasionally start executing the code or something. Basically it starts creating increasingly obscure garbled junk as it automatically generates new clipboard entries when you copy certain stuff to the clipboard. What's odd is that it's reproducable on several versions of kde when trying to clip the same specific things.

A good example of this is the recent ext3 data=journal bug patch to 2.4.20. Just copy the patch to your past buffer and watch the klipper menu. It takes a few seconds to really get going but it's interesting. I did submit a bug report some time ago to let the KDE folks no.

Anyway... I thought it was interesting. If anyone has upgraded yet or is in the process of upgrading, I'd be interested in hearing if this problem is fixed in the latest release.

-ray.
