The Penguin Continues Its March (Wired)
Wired looks at
increasing Linux usage in government systems. "Overseas, Linux
systems help keep order in Germany's parliament as well as China's post
office, France's culture, defense and education ministries and other
federal agencies in Europe and Asia."

I can't put my fingers on it right now, and won't go looking for it, but that other article has two statements attributed to John Stenbit. The second one says something to the effect that, for whatever reasons, software to be used by the DoD must pass tests by someone (the NSA?), and so far, no open source software has passed the tests. Unfortunately, hardly a win for open source software!
