Camm Maguire has announced GCL 2.6.5 on 17 August 2004. This version,
the latest in the `stable' series, features changes to gmp, support
for gprof, performance enhancements and bug fixes.
GCL (GNU Common Lisp) is the official Common Lisp implementation for
the GNU project. "Its design makes use of the system's C compiler to
compile to native object code, providing for both good performance and
facile portability."
