Munich and software patents

Parent article: Munich and software patents

My statement was a personal statement and not an agreed, official view of AFFS, Debian, Turo Technology LLP, GNUstep, or any other group of which I am a member. I knew Tom before he contacted us and it wasn't clear to me that he was asking me for the purpose of an LWN article. I'd hope AFFS agrees, but I won't railroad them. Sorry for the noise, but I think this clarification should be on the same page.

slef, the comment has now been removed. I apologise to you and to LWN
readers for misrepresenting your personal comment as one representative of
the AFFS.

I suppose that's sort-of fair. Remove it rather than correct it.
