Helmut Eller has announced SLIME 1.0-beta on 3 August 2004. Changes
in this version are related to autodoc mode, interactive evaluation,
group customization, code indentation, setup, the modeline, and more.
SLIME (Superior Lisp Interaction Mode for Emacs) is an Emacs mode for
Common Lisp development. It provides facilities for interacting with
a running Common Lisp process for evaluation/compilation, debugging,
definition finding, documentation lookup, cross referencing, object
inspection. and more.
SLIME works with GNU Emacs 20 and 21, and XEmacs 21, on Unix, Mac OS X
and Win32. It supports half a dozen Common Lisp implementations.
