"According to The Weather Channel, the Linux operating system provides increased flexibility and a better price performance ratio when compared to the RISC platform."
Yay terminology confusion! I'm assuming they meant Linux on Itanium was better than some other proprietary OS on a proprietary RISC platform. Linux, of course, runs on several RISC platforms, including PowerPC.
