This is a round-up of news and announcements related to the
Scheme programming language, mostly taken from newsgroups,
mailing lists and web sites that I'm aware of. Feel free to
send me more. The aim is to publish in multiple formats on the
web each week, but more on that very soon. (Date: 2002-09-02)

New entries at the ReadScheme library
Two more papers by people from the PLT team have been added to
the bibliography at the ReadScheme.org web site.

PLT Scheme v202
This maintenance release addresses certain issues with the
previous v201 release.

SchemeQL version 0.04
S-expression language for construction and execution of SQL
database queries. Runs under PLT Scheme, with the SRFI-13 library
also from Schematics. Considerable bug-fix and incompatible
API changes since the last full release.

eGuile 1.2
A new version of the guile-embedded-in-xhtml processing system
was released on 15 August, but SWN missed the announcement for
some reason. A new line-based parser has given a significant
speed-up over the previous one.
