Jeffrey L Taylor may be a 30 year veteran of computing, but I'm pretty sure he's not a 30 year veteran of technical book reviewing.

I'm probably biased; I've spent many years reading Rob Slade's reviews as carried at RISKS Digest, but this book review didn't do much for me at all. I don't, actually, blame the reviewer; clearly the review needed editing, and just as clearly, LJ isn't bothering these days. Shame, really...

I guess it's off to Borders for a cuppa, and read.
