- Fedora has issued an update for the
2.4.22 kernel addressing numerous potential vulnerabilities in the handling of user-space pointers and, of course, the denial of service vulnerability.
- Gentoo has issued an update for
gzip that fixes a problem that
causes code to be executed if the creation of a temporary file fails.
There is an update for the giFT-FastTrack plugin for the giFT file-sharing application, a vulnerability can allow remote attackers to crash the giFT daemon by sending mal-formed signals.
