Although it is good advice to have firewall and antivirus software installed, most people miss the point that to be effective you should never allow your email client to bring up the network connection, instead bring it up manually and update your virus signatures before downloading your email. How many email viruses have infected systems because this most simple of principles has been ignored? -- Soruk
