Now Evolution can talk with Sun calendar server (SJESCS), Novell GroupWise and Microsoft Exchange. No doubt there are internal IBM Lotus Notes and Oracle calendar server connectors just about ready. This makes Evolution able to talk to almost everything (except IETF calsch servers) and even easier to get into an 'enterprise'. An even better outcome would be if this inspired some Free Software people to write a calsch server. Then your transation sceanario is even simpler. First convert to Evolution and use proprietary back-end. Then switch to Free Software backend.
