(Note - you don't need your own script, the stock firebird script will do it for you)I tested this, and it doesn't appear to be true. Sure the stock firebird script seems to open up a new firefox window, but it does not work if you provide a URL (at least not with 0.8 and obviously not with 0.9) To test try running the following commands: firefox & firefox http://www.google.com When I do this I get prompted with the dialog to create a new profile. Using my one line shell script it works.
