I am surprised though that the article does not mention Debian . The Debian community has always seemed geared to support people on all hardware , and their older releases seem to continue to have security updates . I would be interested to learn if a Debian based RULE project was considered , and if so , what were the factors in not basing it on Debian ? Peace ,
