MAME itself is only semi-free Posted Jun 2, 2004 9:01 UTC (Wed) by ballombe (subscriber, #9523) [Link] Unfortunately this kind of uninformed article that questions the legality of MAME(with arguments that would make all cars prohibited, but anyway) can only reinforce feelings of MAME developers that they need to protect themselves with some prohibitions in the license.
