Make sure that you have an existing Linux installation on your hard diskTechnically, you don't have to have an existing Linux distro on your hard disk. In fact, more and more people are using the very high quality "LiveCD" type distros like Knoppix, so that LFS can be installed on a completely bare hard drive. Regards, Matt Burgess LFS Coordinator.
