Peanut Linux is a minimalist distribution (350MB) based off slackware. The stable version 9.5 is about a year old (although it finds my hardware excellently!)

The latest version, 9.6 is kernel 2.6.5 based with a cloop filesystem and the disk is capable of booting as a live CD. It installs itself using EXT2,EXT3,XFS and ReiserFS as well as a umsdos install.

The site is down as of the moment.
