Please remember to have a look at http://packman.links2linux.de. This link
belongs every SuSE review ;-)
You will normally find full versions of all multimedia packages for SuSE,
most are even compiled for 686 and 586 processors. Just give the guys a
few days, and then installing these programs via rpm is a piece of cake.
