Japanese Systems Integrator Ten Art-ni Joins OSDL;
Linux Specialist Launches Big Push Into Enterprise Data Centers in Japan

BEAVERTON, Ore. and TOKYO, April 20 -- The Open Source Development Labs
(OSDL), a global consortium dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Linux,
today announced that Ten Art-ni, a leading Japanese open source technology
integrator, has joined OSDL and will participate in OSDL's Data Center Linux
and Carrier Grade Linux working groups to advance Linux in Japan.

"Japanese enterprises are rapidly moving to Linux," said Nobuo Kita,
President and CEO of Ten Art-ni. "We are joining OSDL to work more closely
in the global Linux eco-system and deploy large Linux systems throughout the
enterprise with a focus on data centers."

Since its founding in 1997, Ten art-ni has built its business on open source
technologies. Ten Art-ni's company-wide mission is to continually incorporate
cutting-edge technologies into their offerings while addressing customer
business challenges. In addition to providing Linux support, professional
services, and system development, Ten Art-ni sells a range of Linux hardware
and software products.

Enterprises are embracing Linux in Japan. Market research firm IDC predicts
that Linux adoption will continue growing at a much faster pace than Windows
and UNIX in the Japanese server market. According to IDC Enterprise Server
Tracker, Linux server shipments will grow at a compound annual growth rate of
40 percent from 2002 to 2007.

"With the rapid global adoption of Linux, we're pleased to have Ten Art-ni
join OSDL," said Stuart Cohen, CEO of OSDL. "This newest OSDL member will
bring a wealth of knowledge about the use of Linux in the Japanese corporate
data center."
