I've had some problems booting with USB, specificly if USB Keyboard or Mouse are selected in the BIOS or I leave my MMC card in the reader. Note to self, must write it up.
Other than that it automatically detected just about everything it could (apart from my printer which needs a later version of gimp-print; works in debian unstable). It's very polished and is probably just like the x86 version. I last had SuSe 6.4 installed so its been a while since I last used it but everything's familiar, only better. I'll definitely be buying 9.1 for the 2.6 kernel (included in 9.0 but only experimental) and printer support.
64 bit software's not really the reason I chose 64 bits. Like the ed, I wanted to be ahead of the curve and I upgraded from a 800Mhz celeron on a BX board. I don't see me getting a new computer for a loooonnnng time.
