The Gnoppix Project is pleased to announce the RC-release of Gnoppix
version 0.6.0-RC2. Gnoppix is a free operating system, with the gnome
desktop environment, features cryptographic software, is compatible
with the FHS v2.2 and supports software developed for the LSB.
Gnoppix is based on Debian stable ( Woody ), no non-free software.

Changes:

 The XOrg Server has been adopted by Gnoppix

The XOrg Foundation Open Source Public Implementation of X11 is a fork
from version 4.4 RC2, owing to disagreement with the new license.

 * secu update
 * added 2.4.25
 * added kernel-sources to /usr/src/linux-2.4.25
 * fixed [bug #7511] locate failes, -> updatedb
 * added X.org from freedesktop
 * removed Xfree 4.3.x
 * fixed [bug #563] xkb extensions broken
 * fixed [bug #6257] Xserver fails to start although MGA 
 * fixed [bug #5973] Floppy disk not mountable and mdir doesn't
   not work

That would be the XOrg version of X11 rather than the XFree86 version of X11
