If you have multiple computers on your desk, i urge you to try netclipboard
It works in both Linux and Windows, and keeps the clipboard of computers on a local network synchronized.
I've used Samba to share files, commercial windows X servers and ssh clients to access linux application, everything i could find to make the integration of my windows workstation and my linux server tighter. The possibility to transparently synchronize clipboards is really a dream come true.
The network protocol appears to be a bit crude (udp broadcast), so i give it a 4/5.
