A ZDNet UK reporter did
some research on Netcraft with amusing results. "The Nevada
court where SCO Group has filed a lawsuit against US retailer AutoZone
could itself theoretically be subject to legal proceedings because the
court is using Linux to run its Web site."

With things shaking out like they are, it honestly seems to me that the only thing viral about Linux is SCO. It seems that SCO believes their Unix has a lock in, and that anyone who has commercially used it cannont change. I am glad I have never touched anything SCO. I never will. The best advice for any person or business is to not get involved with SCO at all. If you currently have a relationship with SCO call it quits, and start with Linux or one of the BSDs from scratch without porting anything SCO ever touched.
In the U.S. we are all free to sue anyone for anything. It does not make it moral, or ethical however. SCO is as viral as the avian flu. To all of us I am confident and proud. I am proud of everyone I know, and those I don't who have toiled in anonymity to keep Linux free. Linux will remain free. Corporate tyranny is no different than politcal tyranny. Tyranny cannont and will not stand. Today marked another nail in the coffin for SCO. The pace quickens and the plot thickens........

As of 12:30 PST SCOX stock price is -2.02 (15.05%). Can you say "opps, it might have backfired"? I'm sure a fair amount of their investors are more than please to say the least. If this trend continues they may not make it to the 2nd quarter report - which IMHO would all but out and out sink them, unless like I said - they manage to pull another proverbial rabbit out of their litigious hat.

A company's stock price is the financial communities evaluation of the company's future profitability. I think that the financial markets are beginning to see beyond SCO's lawsuit bluster.
SCO has no products, they are alienating what few customers that they have left. In addition, the markets are beginning to realize that in light of the foregoing, SCO has no future.
In other words, "You can't take a press release to the bank."

You're right! Once you get in, there is no way out. SCO is the mafia of the IT world.
