DataFlux offers complete Canadian address management

DataFlux offers complete Canadian address management with dfPowerŽ Verify -
SERP

-- Complete, accurate database mailings according to Canada Post's
specifications --

CARY, N.C.? August 12, 2002?DataFlux Corporation, a SAS Company and leading
provider of data quality and data integration solutions that increase the
accuracy and reliability of enterprise- wide data assets, today announced
the availability of dfPower Verify-SERP (Canadian address verification
software). An addition to its suite of data quality and data integration
solutions, dfPower Verify-SERP is the most flexible and powerful
out-of-the-box Canadian address verification solution available. It extends
support from the existing CASS certification by the United States Postal
Service (USPS), and offers an intuitive, easy-to-use graphical user
interface that helps users correct and verify Canadian addresses, insert
correct postal codes and delivery station names, supply rural route numbers
for street served addresses and correct invalid street types/directions.

"Bell Mobility is continually taking steps to market to our customers and
prospects more effectively and efficiently," says John Walker, associate
director of campaign management for Bell Mobility. "dfPower Verify-SERP will
help us reach this goal by allowing us to transform and standardize data,
hence eliminating bad data from our mail files. It both lowers our
operational costs, and improves our response rates by helping us reach more
of the people we want to talk to."

"DataFlux underlines the accuracy of its solutions with SERP certification.
SERP, combined with the company's CASS certification for U.S. addresses,
enables DataFlux users to increase the consistency of their databases and,
at the same, gain significant costs savings and postal discounts," said
Robert Lerner, analyst at Current Analysis. "The Canadian Post Corporation
(CPC) requires a high degree of accuracy in addresses - those failing to
meet its rigorous standards lose valuable postal discounts and incentives.
DataFlux users should be pleased because the company's solutions are also
CASS-certified by the USPS, enabling customers to obtain similar savings and
benefits from their mailings in the US."

Tony Fisher, DataFlux president and CEO stated "With the availability of
dfPower Verify-SERP, DataFlux continues to expand its product suite,
providing our customers like Bell Mobility with end-to-end data quality and
data integration solutions. dfPower Verify-SERP lets you ensure the accuracy
and completeness of addresses according to Canada Post's specifications. It
also helps you meet or exceed requirements of the Canadian Addressing
Standard and provide documentation for Address Accuracy bulk mailer
discounts. Customers can obtain a Statement of Accuracy by comparing their
database to Canada Post's address data."

dfPower Verify-SERP (a module in the dfPowerŽ Studio desktop solution)
allows you to:

ˇ Ensure mail delivery - validate database addresses, so
customers receive correspondence.

ˇ Reduce Costs - Identify addresses that are incorrect
and avoid non-deliverable mail.

ˇ Improve One-To-One Marketing - Ensure that materials
arrive in time to a valid address.

ˇ Boost Customer Value - Strengthen customer ties with
timely and accurate correspondence.

"Wherever you stand in the quest for Data Quality and Data Integration,
DataFlux's integrated product suite provides the power and flexibility to
tailor a solution to your precise needs," added Fisher. "And because
DataFlux is also easy to implement, use and maintain -- it empowers every
key professional in the enterprise. Our solutions enable you to control data
quality and data integration issues - without needing an army of outside
consultants."
