"SCO is currently fighting IBM, Red Hat, and Novell in three separate cases"

Actually at least 4 (or 3.5) in the USA since we have SCO vs IBM and the countersuit IBM vs SCO (which may get settled if IBM wins the first case). Plus those in Germany and Australia with potentially more to come (FTC in USA and New Zealand). From Groklaw, it is very clear that SCO is not able to handle the USA cases. If SCO shows loses any 'ground' in any one case it causes SCO to lose 'ground' in all other cases. Unlike 'ogres have layers' (Shrek) these cases are more like the emperor's new clothes since on closer review the evidence doesn't seem to exist.
