INVITATION TO GNU/LINUX SUMMIT 2004 SEMINAR


GNU/Linux Summit 2004 (26.-27.2.) is the northernmost international
Linux event, which provides participants with information and knowledge
of Open Source and Free Software opportunities. Last year's Summit took
place at Dipoli, Espoo. The 2-day conference was a great success,
attracting some 400 satisfied visitors.


Linux, Open Source and Free Software are familiar to many, but now
GNU/Linux Summit specialises in providing knowledge for businesses
and end users in particular. Summit gives information for example
about how GNU/Linux can help in increasing sales, how to make operative
systems safer and what cost savings can be achieved with Linux. Summit
provides answers also to the following questions: how to improve
ict-infra with Open Source software, which companies offer Linux user
support and expert services, why anyone would want to develop and
distribute Free Software as well as when software development is faster,
better and cheaper. Open Source licensing challenges and how standards
are resolving the incompatibilities between Linux distributions are
also discussed in the Summit.


We invite your representative to GNU/Linux Summit 2004 seminar at
Finlandia Hall in Helsinki on 26.-27.2.2004. Please verify your
