MIGRATEC SIGNS HP AS LICENSED SERVICE PARTNER;
HP PURCHASES 1st LICENSES OF MIGRATEC'S 32DIRECT SOLUTION

HP To Use 32Direct for Customers' Application Migrations

DALLAS - August 8, 2002  - HP, a leading global provider of IT products 
and services, has signed a corporate-wide agreement to become a MigraTEC 
Licensed Service Partner.  MigraTEC (OTCBB: MIGR) is a leading provider 
of application migration solutions.
		
Under the terms of the agreement, HP can license MigraTEC's 32Direct Solaris-to-Linux 
migration solution to deliver migrations to its enterprise customers.

HP Consulting has purchased the first block of licenses for MigraTEC's 
32Direct cross-platform solution under the new agreement for use with its 
clients.  

"MigraTEC's 32Direct fills an important need in HP's overall porting and 
migration strategy," said Laurie Clough, HP Consulting Software Services 
Practicing Principal.  "Its ability to identify needed changes in source 
code is far superior to any other migration methodology and technology. 
 MigraTEC allows us to engage customers more quickly and accelerate their 
migrations from other legacy vendors to newer, high performance HP hardware."
		
MigraTEC's 32Direct dramatically reduces the risk, time and cost of application 
migrations, allowing service providers and enterprises to manage the migration 
process predictably and efficiently.  
	
MigraTEC and HP have already been working together to deliver migration 
solutions to its customers.
